  • Variety- Variety is the spice of life, right? It’s also the spice of summer camp! No one wants to do the same thing over and over and over and over again. Is some repetition neccessary? Of course, but look for camps that offer different types of activities and teaching styles, as well as th eoncorporation of breaks from the screen.

  • Location- Are you looking for an in-person or an online camp? If you are looking for in-person camps, you want to find a location that is easy for you to get to each day. You don’t want the commute to stress you out or take huge chunk out of your day. S

Since the location for an online class is your own home, what you will want to pay attention to is the timing. Is the camp scheduled for times when your child can use the computer and the internet without interruption or distraction? Also be sure to find out what the times of the online camps are in YOUR time zone!

  • Individualized- While camps always include some group instruction, be sure that your camp allows for individualized instruction times and projects. Projects should have room for kids’ creativity and camp schedules should make time for kids to ask questions and get help.

  • Quality Instructors- Instructors at python camps should be knowledgeable about the subject and be able to work well with kids. It’s important that teachers can help the kids learn the material and fun while they’re doing it!

  • Affordability- Make sure the camp you choose fits your budget. There are Python Coding Camps in every price range. Do some homework and find the one that offers you the most for your budget.
